FBI Seeks North Riverside Bank Robber
NORTH RIVERSIDE, Ill. (CBS) -- The FBI is searching for the man who robbed a TCF Bank branch inside a Jewel-Osco store in North Riverside earlier this week.
Around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, the lone man walked into the bank in the store at 7201 W. 24th St. with handgun, came up to the teller counter, and handed a teller a note announcing a robbery, the FBI said. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber fled on foot. No injuries were reported, the FBI said.
The FBI did not specify whether a dye pack was included with the stolen money.
The robber is described as a bearded white man in his 40s, wearing a dark-colored windbreaker, blue jeans, sunglasses and a black and white sports cap that appears to be a Blackhawks hat.
