Father, Son Shot In Marquette Park
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A father and son were wounded, one critically, in a shooting Sunday morning in the South Side Marquette Park neighborhood.
Two males suffered gunshot wounds while in their vehicles about 11:45 a.m. on the 2900 block of West 66th Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety.
The shooting may have been a drive-by, Baety said.
The victims are reportedly father and son, a source said.
Both victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where one was in "stable" condition and the other in critical condition, Baety said.
The CTA's No. 63 -- 63rd Street bus was rerouted in both directions after the shooting, as police investigated.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
