Father, Infant Son Missing From Schaumburg
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (STMW) - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a Schaumburg man who went missing after picking up his infant son from daycare Wednesday.
Chris Miller, 29, picked his infant son, Jackson, from daycare and was supposed to have taken him to a doctor's appointment, according to an alert from Schaumburg police. Neither Miller nor his son made it to the appointment, and they have not been heard from since.
Attempts to reach him have been unsuccessful and it appears his cell phone has been turned off, the alert said.
Miller's wife told police he appeared to have taken more breast milk and diapers with him than would be necessary for the day, the alert said.
The two are likely in a 2003 Black Volkswagen Beetle with Illinois plate L324339 and may be en route to visit his family in Louisville, Ky., the alert said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Schaumburg police at (847) 882-3586.
