Actor Kevin Costner is a co-owner of the team, and his portrait appears on pocket schedules and the team's Web site. Now a disappointed fan, Jason Kern, wants his money back from Costner, the Daily Herald reports.
Kern said he paid $1,800 for season tickets for this year, and tells the Daily Herald he has been treated to "semipro" quality playing. He had expected to watch professional ball in a the 4,000-seat stadium with luxury suites and party decks.
The team has been in existence since 2010, and the ballpark where it plays, at Route 173 and Green Bay Road in Zion, is still unfinished, the Daily Herald reported.
Costner's publicist will not make him available to address the fans' complaints, the newspaper reported.
