CHICAGO (CBS) -- Fans of the Backstreet Boys were upset Friday night when their concert was shut down, reports WBBM's Mike Krauser.

It was just before the 11 p.m. cutoff for shows at Northerly Island. Those who were there tell WBBM the Backstreet Boys started late and were shut down despite the fact that Lollapalooza at nearby Grant Park was still going on.
One fan said the VIP package cost $600 and there were some pretty upset people. The band asked for one more song but they didn't get it.
One woman says things get a little tense at the end and there was some scuffling and eventually the microphones were shut off.
The band said it the police who made them shut it off and the police said it was the promoter
