Family Members Frustrated As Lisa Stebic Case Remains Unsolved
PLAINFIELD, Ill. (CBS) -- Family members of Lisa Stebic, the Plainfield woman missing since April 2007, say they remain frustrated that the case is still unsolved.
WBBM Newrsadio's Dave Berner spoke with a member of the Stebic family as the fifth year anniversary of Lisa's disappearance approaches.

On April 30, 2007, Lisa Stebic, then 37, disappeared. Her husband, Craig Stebic told police she had gone for a workout and never returned.
"Lisa' still missing," said her cousin, Melanie Greenberg. "We know she's dead, but we don't have a body. We don't have a place to mourn."
The Stebic case dominated the headlines for much of 2007, until another similar missing persons case in Bolingbrook surfaced in October of that year. That case involved former Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson, and the disappearance of his third wife, Stacy.
Greenberg says as time has passed, tips have dwindled. But the hearsay issue that has come up in the Peterson case has given some hope if there is ever a prosecution.
"As the (Peterson) trial unfolds, we will be watching that closely to see how that plays out," she said.
A reward of $75,000 is still in place, and Greenberg says it might just take one piece of the puzzle to solve this case.
"All they would need to do is call the Plainfield police and give a tip that really leads to finding Lisa," she said.
