Facebook User Busted After Bragging About Nightclub Fight
CHICAGO (STMW/WBBM) -- Ruth Ramirez smashed a glass into the face of another woman at a Near North Side nightclub — and then bragged about it on Facebook, police say. WBBM's Mary Frances Bragiel has more on the incident.

But one of the victim's friend saw the boasts and told the victim, who was able to identify the 5 foot 4 brunette from her Facebook photo, prosecutors said.
Ramirez was arrested Tuesday for the April 22 incident at the Leg Room, 7 W. Division. Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. ordered the mother of one child held in lieu of $100,000 bail Wednesday for aggravated battery causing bodily harm.
Assistant State's Attorney Erin Antonietti said Wednesday that the victim, 29, and a friend were dancing at the Leg Room when Ramirez approached them. Words were exchanged. Then, Ramirez raised her hands toward the victim but the woman slapped Ramirez's hands away, Antonietti said.
Ramirez, of the 3700 block of West Division, allegedly came at the victim again. This time, she smashed a glass in the woman's face, Antonietti said.
The victim's friend separated the two women and Ramirez left the club, Antonietti said.
The victim went to the hospital and received 32 stitches in her face as a result of the attack.
After a friend told the victim that Ramirez was discussing the Leg Room incident on her Facebook page, the victim contacted police, Antonietti said.
Ramirez , nicknamed "Tuty," has a tattoo of the word "Boss" of on her lower right arm and of the word "Flossy" on her left wrist, according to a police report.
