FAA Proposing Boeing Pay $1.25 Million Fine
CHICAGO (CBS)-- More trouble is in the air for Boeing. The FAA wants the plane maker to pay a fine of more than $1 million.
The agency is accusing Boeing of pressuring or interfering with workers authorized to certify its planes and processes met federal standards.
Boeing admits, there were at least two instances that were investigated and reported to the FAA, and that it's implemented corrective action.
The FAA says the incident happened at Boeing South Carolina plant.
