Expect Slow Spots, Inconveniences On The 'L' System
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Some commuters returning to work Tuesday after a four-day holiday weekend could see minor inconveniences on the CTA 'L' system.
As WBBM Newsradio's Michele Fiore reports, there are no delays on the North Side, but Brown Line riders will have to deal with a detour at one major stop.

The main entrance to the Chicago Avenue stop will be shut down between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Chicago Transit Authority spokesman Brian Steele says that should not slow travel.
Riders should not see daytime delays elsewhere either.
"All of the service on the other lines will be as you would normally see during the week; no service or maintenance is planned, so commuting times should be essentially what they are during a regular week," Steele said.
Late-night riding on the Red Line, however, will be affected by scheduled signal and track maintenance. It will affect the line between the Fullerton elevated stop and the Clark/Division subway stop on Tuesday and Wednesday night from 10:30 p.m. until 4 a.m.
