Ex-Bear Alex Brown Released By Saints
(CBS) Former Chicago Bears defensive end Alex Brown wrote on Twitter Tuesday that he has been released by the New Orleans Saints.
Brown spent one year with the Saints after being released by the Bears a year ago.
Brown has two sacks and 32 tackles a year ago with New Orleans. His release is somewhat of a surprise because he was on the No. 1 defense and started all three preseason games this season. He started all 16 games for the Saints a year ago.
