Elmhurst Man Arrested For Selling Candy-Laced Cannabis
ELMHURST (STMW) -- An Elmhurst man has been arrested for selling cannabis, some laced with candy, to customers in the western suburb.
Brandon Biggs, 23, of the 200 block of West Kimbell in Elmhurst, has been charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of cannabis/candy with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
He was suspected of selling cannabis and candy-laced cannabis to local customers from the Elmhurst area, according to a police release.
Officers executed a search warrant at his home and recovered 730 grams of cannabis, 1,052.5 grams of candy laced with cannabis, and various drug paraphernalia, the release said. He was being held Friday at the DuPage County Jail, pending a bond hearing.
Police did not immediately have any further details on the arrest.
