Elderly Woman Killed By A Car, Then Jewelry Goes Missing
(WBBM) - Oak Lawn police and Advocate Christ Hospital are trying to figure out what happened to the jewelry of a patient who was brought in after being hit by a car last week.

It was last Friday when the elderly woman was rushed to Advocate Christ. She was dead on arrival and at the time, had no identification on her so she was listed as a Jane Doe.
By the time her family finally identified her as 89-year-old Mary Infantino, the Chicago Sun-Times reports, her jewelry was gone.
Her son-in-law, former Chicago Board of Trade chief Tom Donovan tells the paper she'd had on a gold necklace, two gold bracelets and the diamond and gold wedding band she'd worn for 60 years.
The hospital's Mike Maggio says the hospital takes responsibility for the missing jewelry and will compensate the family if the jewelry can't be found.
The hospital is cooperating with an Oak Lawn police investigation.
