Elderly South Side Woman's Death Ruled Homicide
(STMW) -- The death of an elderly South Side woman has been ruled a homicide by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Della Cotton, of the 400 block of West Marquette Road, was found decomposed in her home, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
A Friday autopsy cited heart disease and elder neglect as the causes of the 90-year-old woman's death.
Police News Affairs did not immediately respond to a call for comment.
