Elderly Bridgeport Man Reported Missing
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are searching for a missing elderly man with Alzheimer's disease who went missing from his Bridgeport neighborhood home Saturday.
About 3 p.m. Saturday, officials discovered Mickey Shih Fong Choy was missing from his apartment in the 3400 block of South Wallace, according to an alert issued by Area Central detectives.
Choy, 83, left his ID and cell phone at the apartment and police are not sure if he speaks English, the alert said.
Choy is described as a 5-foot-3, 140-pound Asian man with gray hair, brown eyes and a light complexion, the alert said. He suffers from Alzheimer's disease but may have some cash with him.
He was last seen wearing a red shirt and gray pants, the alert said.
