Elderly Alzheimer's Victim Missing From Austin Neighborhood
CHICAGO (STMW) -- An 83-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease went missing Saturday from the West Side Austin neighborhood.
Cleveland Ivey, 83, went missing Saturday from the 4800 block of West Iowa Street, according to an alert from North Area detectives.
Ivey has Alzheimer's disease and have been becoming more confused, the alert said. He may have taken public transportation to Chicago Heights to visit relatives. Ivey should have identification with his name and address.
He is described as an African-American man with a medium complexion, 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, the alert said.
