Eisenhower Expressway shut down near 17th Avenue after fatal crash
CHICAGO (CBS) — Eisenhower Expressway lanes are shut down in both directions after a fatal crash in Maywood early Monday morning.
Just before 4:20 a.m., Illinois State Police said a car hit a man standing in the roadway near 17th Avenue. Police confirmed the pedestrian was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported.
Lanes will be shut down for an extended period.
