East Coast Snow Still Delaying Chicago Flights
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Airline flight troubles to the East Coast continued to have a ripple effect in Chicago Tuesday.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Bernie Tafoya reports, on Monday night, eight international flights had to be diverted to O'Hare International Airport.

That left 1,700 travelers with time on their hands in Chicago.
The city offered the travelers information about hotels, restaurants, and some entertainment possibilities.
The Chicago Department of Aviation also said it worked closely with the Federal Aviation Administration to find gates for the planes to take off again, and with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to get the passengers through the customs process smoothly.
Meanwhile, even though the blizzard was over by Tuesday morning, more than a dozen flights were canceled from O'Hare to New York's LaGuardia International Airport, Newark International Airport, and Westchester County Airport. Other flights to the Eastern Seaboard were delayed.
But at Midway International Airport, most of the flights to the East Coast appeared to be on time Tuesday morning.
