Dunn 'Not Panicking' After Rough Start To Season
CHICAGO (WSCR) Adam Dunn's slow start is beginning to look like it might lead to the worst season of his career unless the slugger can find a way to regain his old form, and to help regain that form, Dunn took a look at some old tape.
According to Scott Merkin, of MLB.com, Dunn watched old tapes he had never seen before to remember how it felt to square up some pitches.
"I don't really have something to point a finger at the reason why I'm not [hitting]," Dunn told Merkin. "It's just not been there. The good news is we have four months left."
Through the first 65 games of the season, Dunn is hitting .178 with a mere six home runs, he homered in the third inning of Thursday night's 9-4 win over the Oakland Athletics.
"I'm not panicking as much as I probably should be," Dunn told Merkin. "But again, a lot of good things could happen."
