Dunn: 'I Want People To Expect Big Things Out Of Me'
Newly acquired Chicago White Sox slugger Adam Dunn will be faced with increased pressure this season as he moves to a team that is expected to reach the playoffs, and that's pressure he welcomes.
"I put more pressure on myself than, probably, you should put on someone," Dunn said. "If there's not pressure on me to do good, then I'm obviously not doing my job," Dunn said. "I want pressure, I want people to expect big things out of me."
The same goes for the White Sox coming into this season. After challenging for the division crown a year ago, the team went out and added the pieces they felt they needed to take the next step.
"It's pretty awesome to play on a team, with an organization, that has deficiencies, but will go out and get them [fixed]," Dunn said. "That's something pretty new to me."
With their deficiencies fixed, the expectations and pressure have been increased for the White Sox.
