Dunn Homers, Has Four RBIs For White Sox In Win

SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) — Adam Dunn doubled, homered and drove in four runs and the Chicago White Sox beat the Texas Rangers 6-3, giving rookie manager Robin Ventura his first win.

Dunn entered the game hitless with walks in three consecutive plate appearances. But he hit a towering three-run home run off Neftali Feliz in the first and added an RBI double to the right field wall in the third.

Feliz, moving from closer to the rotation this season, allowed three runs on three hits with a pair of strikeouts in his first start of spring training.

White Sox starter Hector Santiago held the Rangers to two hits and a walk in two innings. He struck out three.

Brent Morel had two hits and scored twice for Chicago. Elvis Andrus went 2 for 3 for the Rangers.
