Dunleavy Responds To Cousins' Criticism: 'His Reputation Speaks For Itself'
(CBS) Following his team's 101-92 win at Phoenix on Tuesday night, Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy responded to the criticism of Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins calling him "a clown" just a night earlier.
Surprisingly, Dunleavy said he hadn't heard about all the drama. When he was informed, he had a few choice words for Cousins, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.
"I would like to respond but clowns can't talk. So I'll mime or make him some animal balloons or something," Dunleavy told the Tribune. "Oh, man. That's the epitome of the pot calling the kettle black. Honestly, I've never been called that before. I guess there's a first time for everything."
Dunleavy went on to add, "His reputation speaks for itself. He has a short fuse."
Cousins was ejected from a game last season for elbowing Dunleavy, who was then with the Bucks.
