Driver Hits Children's Memorial Ambulance, Flees
CHICAGO (CBS) - Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving an ambulance en route to Children's Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park early Tuesday.
As of 1 a.m., officers were at Children's Memorial Hospital, in the 2300 block of North Children's Plaza just off Lincoln Avenue, after a vehicle hit an ambulance and took off, a Near North District officer said.
It was not immediately learned where the crash happened, or if anyone was injured.
The hospital and police News Affairs could not immediately provide information.
