Drake Shoots Down Knox Trade Rumors
(CBS) Wide receivers coach Darryl Drake made it clear Johnny Knox has no desire to leave the Bears if he does not earn starting job during training camp.
Responding to a Chicago Tribune report that said "there's a better than fair chance [Knox] will push for a new home" if he doesn't beat out Roy Williams for a starting job, Drake said the report was false and did so adamantly.
"I don't even know where this crap comes from," Drake said Thursday. "You know, people making up stuff and all that? Johnny Knox hasn't said anything about that. And I'm getting tired of talking about this (expletive) about Johnny Knox."

"Johnny Knox texted me this morning wondering where this crap comes from. And I'm going to tell you right now, if you guys keep making this stuff up and bringing this stuff up, you're going to deal with me and that ain't going to be real nice.
"Johnny Knox is trying to everything he needs to do. He don't need all this. He's trying to be the best he can possibly be. He don't need nobody to coming up making stuff up. If Johnny Knox would've said that, fine, he'd have to deal with it. But when he doesn't, then I'm going to get involved in it. Just as simple as that."
