Downers Grove Bank Robbed By Man In Construction Costume
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (STMW) -- A man in a construction costume robbed a bank Wednesday in west suburban Downers Grove.
The man robbed the Citibank branch in the 5100 block of Main Street in Downers Grove on Tuesday, according to the FBI.
The robber is described as a 45- to 50-year-old man with his head covered, the FBI said. He is about 5-feet-10 and had a "5 o'clock shadow" beard.
He was wearing an orange construction helmet, orange shirt, jeans and sunglasses, the FBI said.
No weapon was shown and the FBI is describing it as a "non takeover robbery."
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robber. Anyone with information should call the FBI Chicago at (312) 421-6700.
