Down goes Peavy
The White Sox suffered a blow Tuesday night that could change the course of a promising season.
Jake Peavy left Tuesday's game after throwing a pitch in the second inning. He immediately grabbed his side underneath his right throwing arm and headed straight to the dugout.
The official word is that he strained his right latissimus dorsi, which is the largest muscle the back, extending from lower portion of the back near the spine all the way to the side just under the arm. He will be evaluated tomorrow.
