Dolton Man Killed In South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A Dolton man died after he was shot in the face Tuesday afternoon on the South Side.
The man was shot about 3 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Kingston Avenue and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said. He had been shot in the face.
Marshall Knight, 21, of the 15200 block of Greenwood Road in Dolton, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 4:10 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Area South detectives are investigating.
