Dog With Brain Tumor Lives Long Enough To See Owner Get Married
BUENA VISTA, Colo. (CBS) -- A dog with a brain tumor hung on long enough to see his human get married.
A Buena Vista, Colorado couple did not think their dog, Charlie Bear would make it to their wedding day, CBS Denver reports.
The dog suffered a seizure last April and was diagnosed with a serious brain tumor.
In the week leading up to the wedding, Charlie Bear suffered five seizures, but he hung in long enough to see his humans get married.
The day of the wedding, Charlie could not walk down the aisle, but he had some assistance. The bride's sister helped carry the dog down the aisle. She would not let him miss this moment.
Charlie Bear passed away a little more than a week after the wedding.
