DiNardo: Be Cautious With Luck
(WSCR) When the 2012 NFL draft rolls around, there is little debate as to who will be taken with the No. 1 selection.
Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck has led the Cardinals to an 8-0 start and shot up draft boards in the process.
One college football analyst, however, said people should be careful before they crown Luck as the best of the best.
"I think (the media) has to be a little bit careful, unless they've sat down and watched everybody else to make these big-time statements," Gerry DiNardo of the Big Ten Network told The Mully and Hanley Show.

DiNardo did praise Luck and said he did believe he was the best quarterback in college football.
"I watch Andrew Luck and think, 'Could there be a better quarterback?' Then I shut the tape off and say, 'I don't think so,'" Dinardo said. "What I've seen of Luck, I'd have to believe he's the best college quarterback. When you talk about the next level, it's like anything else, it's who else is available? Maybe he's not John Elway, but he still may be the best quarterback available."
