Despite Loss, Bears See Positives In Regular Season Finale
(WSCR) - The only thing the Chicago Bears had to lose in Sunday night's game was the game itself and any players to injury. After escaping injury free, the Bears can look back and find the positives.
The Bears stayed healthy and regained their swagger on defense, too.
So even though they went all in and lost 10-3 to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, they could take some positives away from the regular-season finale.
The way coach Lovie Smith sees it, there was no better way to tune up for the playoffs than with a "hard game like that" at hostile Lambeau Field.
Chicago kept Rodgers in check after getting rolled over by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in a 36-7 loss and struggling to stop the New York Jets in a 38-34 win in recent weeks. The offense, however, couldn't get going after helping the Bears score 78 points over the previous two games.
