Derrick Rose Is Questionable To Play Against Bucks
(CBS) One night after he was a late scratch from the starting lineup after being listed as "probable" to play, Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has been downgraded to "questionable" to play in tonight's game against the Bucks in Milwaukee as he deals with two sprained ankles.
Rose injured both ankles in a loss last Friday to the Cavaliers and hasn't played since leaving in the third quarter that night. His left ankle is considered the more bothersome injury. Chicago is being cautious with Rose as he's coming back from a second major knee injury, and amid a stretch of four games in five nights, the team's approach isn't surprising.
On Tuesday, Rose went through pregame warmups before it was decided that he wouldn't play.
Elsewhere for the Bulls, Taj Gibson (sprained left ankle) and Jimmy Butler (left thumb sprain and right shoulder strain) are both probable for tonight's game. Each played in the win against the Magic on Tuesday. Joakim Noah (illness) is doubtful.
