Denver Boot Coming For Rolling Meadows Parking Scofflaws
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (CBS) -- If you live in Rolling Meadows, Police are warning you – the boot is coming.
As WBBM Newsradio's Felicia Middlebrooks reports, five or more outstanding parking violations in Rolling Meadows will now result in your vehicle gets the boot.

A city ordinance passed in December, but newly tweaked, it will be enforced in a few months, the Daily Herald reported.
Police Chief Dave Scanlan tells the Daily Herald that 14 days before the boot, drivers will get a heads up and a right to a hearing.
Owners of booted vehicles have 48 hours to pay up or face towing. The fees are $200 plus towing, storage and the outstanding tickets.
The law in Rolling Meadows is considerably more lenient than in the city of Chicago.
In the city, three parking tickets of any age, or two tickets one year or older, will result in the boot. A few years ago, now-retired Mayor Richard M. Daley tightened the restrictions; previously, only three tickets one year or older resulted in the boot.
In private parking lots, so much being caught stepping off the property to visit other shops can result in booting and towing.
