Dense Fog Advisory In Effect Across Chicago Area
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory across the Chicago area until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Visibility could drop to a quarter-mile or less across Chicago roadways, including Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, interstates and rural roads across northern Illinois.
With reduced visibility, drivers should slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of space between cars.
Warming temperatures should help the fog burn-off by late Tuesday morning.
