Del Valle Vows To Make College Easier For Chicago Kids
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Mayoral candidate Miguel del Valle is offering a plan to make higher education more affordable to students and their families.

Del Valle wants the city's community colleges to work more closely with four-year institutions, allowing students to start at more affordable two-year schools and finish at the state's four-year universities.
He wants to expand a Chicago Public School program that allows kids to earn college credits in high school. It's a program that he says not fully utilized.
