THE DEFENSE
Q: What is the vehicle's main use?
A: It's to get around nowadays because the gas is so high. It's very good on gas mileage, so I spend a lot of time on it.
Q: What's the furthest place you've driven to on your motorcycle?
A: The furthest place was to Wisconsin. It was a nice ride. It was my first cruiser. I wanted to see how it felt to be on the road. It was during the spring, so it was still pretty windy and chilly. It was a very good experience. She handled really well.
Q: What's the craziest place you've driven to?
A: I haven't driven to a crazy place yet because I've only had the bike for three months. I do want to drive to a crazy place because I am an adventurous person.
Q: Have you thought about where you might want to drive to?
A: It would have to be Myrtle Beach, South Carolina because they have Black Bike Week in the last week of May. I've heard great things about it, but just haven't gotten a chance to go. I'm sure it would be fun, and I'll probably take a lot memories home with me.
Q: If your motorcycle had a theme song, what would it be?
A: I guess it would have to be one of the songs from The Lion King.
Q: Why The Lion King?
A: Because I am a Leo and I love the movie Lion King. I even have tattoos of lions on my arm. I think that song represents me and my bike pretty well.
Q: If your car had a human emotion, what would it be?
A: It would definitely be sexy. That's the look I try to have.
Q: How many more miles do you think are left in the life of your vehicle?
A: It's a lot of miles left in this bad boy.
Q: Do you have any rules for your motorcycle?
A: I do have rules, one being the fact that you don't have to wear a helmet, but you at least have to wear glasses to shield your eyes from flying debris.
Q: What do you think your next motorcycle will be?
A: I have a crotch rocket already, a Suzuki Gixxer 1000. That's the reason why I bought this one. So I can have the best of both worlds. Every now and then when I feel the need for speed, I get on the crotch rocket. When I feel the need to relax I get on the Vard. I'm kind of done with motorcycles right about now in terms of buying them. I have two perfect motorcycles for me.
Q: Can you explain the difference between speed bikes and cruisers?
A: As far as differences for me, when I bought my speed bike I was young. I had the need for speed. Being on one wheel and showing off. I've been riding for 14 years. As I got older, that's when I went to get a cruiser. I was in a more relaxed mode. I wanted to get on the road more, and enjoy the view instead of going so fast. I've done my time with fast bikes.
Q: Do you have a radio on your motorcycle?
A: No, but it's soon to be one on here.
Q: When you get a radio what are you going to listen to?
A: I'm old school. The J.B.'s, P-Funk and Steppin' music. I grew up with that music.
Q: Is there anything else you would like us to know about your motorcycle?
A: Well, of course, you see she is beautiful, she is very comfortable, and she treats you with the utmost respect.
