DCFS Probes Death Of Boy, 2

DOLTON, Ill. (STMW) -- The state Department of Children and Family Services is investigating after a 2-year-old south suburban boy died Tuesday at a hospital.
Mykaio Wilson of 14833 Edbrooke Ave in Dolton was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m. at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
DCFS is investigating allegations of neglect, according to agency spokesman Kendall Marlowe. The agency has had no prior contact with the family and there were no other children in the home, he said.
An autopsy on Wednesday was inconclusive, pending the results of further studies, according to the medical examiner's office.
Dolton police are investigating but would not provide any information.
