Daycare Employee Hit By Stray Bullet In Calumet City
(CBS) – A daycare worker was shot in the face Monday at a day care center in Calumet City – an unintended victim struck by a stray bullet, police said.
The shooting reportedly stemmed from an argument outside a convenience store near the Children's Home Center on Dolton Road.
The stray bullet came through the window, striking a 47-year-old employee in the face.
She is currently in stable condition, police said.
