One Killed, Two Injured In Multiple Car Crash On Dan Ryan Expressway
CHICAGO (CBS) -- It was a terrible scene on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Sunday morning, when one person was killed in a crash near 83rd Street.
Around 3:22 a.m. Illinois State Police responded to a crash involving at least three cars.
One car was left with its rear end completely caved in. At least two other people were injured in the crash in addition to the person who died.
The area near the scene was closed off and traffic was redirected for hours.
Late Sunday, Illinois State Police were still investigating – trying to figure out exactly how the crash happened.
