D-Rose: Will Be Funny To See Doubters 'Eat Their Words'
(CBS) As he makes his return to meaningful basketball with the start of today's USA Basketball training camp, Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is also talking basketball again.
And he's expressing supreme confidence.
Speaking at an Adidas event over the weekend ahead of Team USA practice, Rose told a crowd that he can't wait to prove his doubters wrong, according to Slam Magazine.

Rose has played just 49 games over the past three NBA seasons as he's dealt with two devastating knee injuries. Since the second one in November 2013, both he and the Bulls have said his rehab has gone just as planned.
We'll get a good look now at just how far Rose has come. In Las Vegas, he's battling the likes of Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, John Wall and Kyrie Irving at the point guard position. Those who make the cut will continue on to the World Cup in Spain in late August and mid-September.
