Cyclist Injured By Falling Tree Limb On Lakefront Path In Lincoln Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A falling tree limb injured a bicyclist on Chicago's lakefront Wednesday afternoon.
The limb fell around 4:45 p.m. in Lincoln Park, and hit a cyclist on the Lakefront Trail near Belmont Avenue.
AccuWeather said winds were gusting between 40 and 45 miles an hour for the better part of the day on Wednesday.
The Fire Department said the man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in good condition.
