Cubs Show Interest In Pujols, Fielder
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Cubs are making efforts to sign either Albert Pujols or Prince Fielder, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
The two All-Star sluggers are among the most-coveted free agents in baseball.
Sources say the Cubs are more willing to sign a long-term deal with Pujols, 31 who is the better defender. Some teams, concerned by Fielder's body would prefer him on a shorter, high-dollar deal, Rosenthal said.
