Chicago Cubs Set NLCS Roster
(CBS) -- The Chicago Cubs have announced their roster for the National League Championship Series ahead of Saturday's Game 1 against the New York Mets.
The Cubs are carrying 11 pitchers and 14 position players. The notable change is that outfielder Quintin Berry has been added in place of the injured Addison Russell.
The pitchers are Kyle Hendricks, Clayton Richard, Jon Lester, Travis Wood, Jason Hammel, Pedro Strop, Jake Arrieta, Justin Grimm, Trevor Cahill, Hector Rondon and Fernando Rodney.
The position players are Berry, David Ross, Chris Coghlan, Javier Baez, Tommy La Stella, Kyle Schwarber, Starlin Castro, Chris Denorfia, Kris Bryant, Dextor Fowler, Austin Jackson, Anthony Rizzo, Miguel Montero and Jorge Soler.
