CTA Worker Attacked At Blue Line Subway Station
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A CTA worker was attacked at a Blue Line subway station early Wednesday morning in the West Town neighborhood.
CBS 2's Susanna Song reports the CTA employee had left her booth to use the restroom at the Chicago subway stop on the Blue Line, at 800 N. Milwaukee Av., around 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
Police said a man was waiting for her outside the restroom, and attacked her as she exited the washroom to return to her booth. He ran away when someone entered the station.
The woman was not seriously hurt, and refused medical attention.
Police said they were reviewing footage from surveillance cameras at the station to get a picture of the attacker.
