CTA, Chicago Public Library Partner To Offer Free Content For Riders
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The best of Chicago will soon be a train ride away.
Mayor Emanuel announced Sunday a new partnership between Chicago Transit Authority and Chicago Public Library. WBBM's Michele Fiore reports.
The partnership will offer riders access to Chicago-based content free of charge. The content includes e-books by Chicago authors and blog posts about the city.
Riders will be able to access Chicago Public Library content by using the CTA's 4G wireless network on trains and buses.
The goal is to introduce the newest generation of the arts.
