CSO, Muti Show Their Gratitude To Northwestern Hospital
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra struck a note of gratitude at Northwestern Memorial Hospital this week.

Maestro Riccardo Muti was there as CSO musicians performed twice at the hospital.
It was the CSO's way of saying thank you to the Northwestern doctors and other staff members who cared for Muti after he fainted and fell during a rehearsal earlier this month.
Muti was treated for the facial injuries he suffered in the fall, and surgeons implanted a pacemaker to deal with the heart rhythm problem that caused him to pass out in the first place.
Over two days this week, CSO musicians played works by Mozart, Hadyn and Bach for over 500 hospital employees.
The concerts were also piped in to patients' rooms via Northwestern's closed circuit TV network. Muti was released from the hospital a couple of weeks ago.
