Crash Snags Southbound Lake Shore Drive
CHICAGO (CBS) -- An accident Wednesday morning left a car crumpled and snagged southbound Lake Shore Drive.
As CBS 2's Kris Habermehl reports, as of shortly before 6:30 a.m., the car was sitting in the right lane near Division Street. Its trunk and entire rear had been demolished after being rear-ended.
The right lane was closed for the crash.
After the accident, a Traffic Management Authority tow truck came to the scene and had to block the center right lane to pull out and prepare to haul the car away.
Information about injuries was not immediately available.
