Crash Shuts Down Gary Avenue In Roselle
ROSELLE, Ill. (CBS) -- A serious crash early Thursday prompted police to shut down busy Gary Avenue in northwest suburban Roselle.
CBS 2's David Morrison reports both directions of Gary Avenue were blocked off from the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway south to Central Avenue.
Traffic was also blocked up on northbound Gary Avenue approaching the scene.
The wreck happened about 3 a.m. Thursday. Details of the crash and the condition of the person or people inside the car were not immediately available.
Morrison advises using Lake Street or heading all the way to Roselle Road as an alternative. Gary Avenue is expected to remain closed for several hours to come.
