Crain Looking For Edge In Spring Training
Spring training is just starting to pick up some steam. Over the course of the the next month of games, players will look to make the adjustments and prepare themselves for the long 162-game season.
"As a pitcher, you're always looking for something to get a little edge, to get a little better," White Sox reliever Jesse Crain said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "You know, if some body has something that's going to help you, you try it out. Because no matter how old you are or how long you've been playing you can always get better."

And if Crain is looking for an edge to take his pitching to the next level, there might not be a better pitching coach to do that than Don Cooper.
"I didn't know too much about him coming in, but getting to know him, it's been great," Crain said. "He makes you focus on the right things. I'm sure throughout the season he'll tell me little things here and there, and work on things to help me. It's hard to work on new things as you're throwing bullpen [sessions], but as soon as games start, you get in there, you know, we'll talk more and talk about the outings and things we need to work on."
