Crain Finds It Weird Going From Twins To Sox
The White Sox rivalry against the Twins is an old one. With relief pitcher Jesse Crain leaving the Twins to join the black and white, things could get interesting for the pitcher.
Crain said himself it'll be different playing with his former rival, but it'll be fun.
""With the Twins, we have a lot of respect for Ozzie and we know he respects the Twins organization," Crain said at the White Sox spring training. "And then them coming and getting me, I think that shows they have so much respect for the players over there."
Bringing Crain to Chicago adds a lot of fire power to the White Sox bullpen. The pitcher posted a healthy 3.04 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 71 appearances for the Twins this past year.
"I think it's huge having three solid lefties out there, that's if Sale's going to be out there," Crain said about the White Sox bullpen for the 2011 season. "I think that helps the bullpen a lot to have me, Santos and Pena out there as righties."
