CPS Offering Survey To Parents For Input To Next Year's School Calendar
CHICAGO (CBS) -- For the first time, Chicago Public Schools is giving parents the option to what they want next year's school calendar to look like.
Option one is similar to this school year -- school will start before Labor Day on Aug. 29, and students will finish their first semester after winter break.
If parents chose option two, classes will start a week earlier on August 22nd. and the first semester will end before winter break.
The survey is open now and will close Friday, Feb. 18.
