Coyote Attacks Dog In West Suburb
WHEATON (STMW) -- A coyote attacked a dog in west suburban Wheaton Friday night, according to officials.
The coyote jumped over the fence of a home located in the 600 block of Plamondon Court and attacked a schnauzer about 10:30 p.m., according to an alert issued Saturday by Wheaton police.
If residents see a coyote near their homes, they should yell, throw objects or "spray it with a garden hose," the alert said.
Police also warned residents that feeding coyotes is illegal.
